So where are all the new posts?!?

All the blog post energy has been going into the home front lately as Grace gets ready to go back to work, and Momo gets ready to graduate from newborn to infant.  She’s growing and changing so fast I tell people (mainly Grace) she’s starting college next week.  Today is officially three months so I thought I’d share with you some random thoughts on new-parenthood. Eat, sleep, poop…

That’s pretty much all our daughter does at one month and yet she’s one of our favorite people in the whole world.  She doesn’t have much of a vocabulary (“feed me,” “FEED ME,” and “I’m pooping” are the most common), and yet we find her very interesting, and listen very carefully to what she says…  We may not always act on her words as quickly as she would like: sometimes it takes a few minutes to get ready for feedings, or change a diaper, or get towels to clean up all the baby barf… of course she can’t understand that; but nevertheless we act on her cries as a first priority.  Now some people think I’m just another baby daddy talking about his munchkin, and I am – but I’m also (really) saying something about you and God…
