I've been working with a client who wants me to do all kinds of things, and if I don't, she takes matters into her own hands and does the things I've said no to. It's not that I'm saying no because I don't want to trouble myself -- it's because I don't think they're good moves. Her efforts are not only costing her a lot of time and stress, but are also undermining her interests. I was getting so frustrated... and then realized how I do the same thing all the time with God, only more so. I'm glad he's more in control than I am with my client -- that he can work things out for the best anyway, unlike me for my client. I’ve been thinking of such things a lot lately.
