How Can You Live Like That?

Here’s a clip from the documentary “Comedian.” It probably has a very limited appeal as a movie, but I really liked it. Here Jerry Seinfeld is talking to a young comedian who feels like his work requires too much sacrifice.
I think this is actually one of the more difficult lessons of being a performer…or a follower of Jesus, “Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.” (Mt 10:37-39)
