God and Dishes

Lots of people think of church the way they think of dishwashers… Doing the dishes is important…and you’d miss the dishwasher if it were broke, and some brands are better than others…but whichever you have, you don’t really think about it much. Usually the one you have when you move into a place is good enough… But it’s not that way for everyone…
For other people church is, for lack of a better word…Holy. And maybe even a little crazy! Because we’re coming together to hear from God. I’m not talking about the sermon – but that through the experience of singing and thinking and talking about God’s Word, God manages to speak to us somehow… To tell us what we need to hear and bring clarity. And He gives us friends so that we can listen for this together…
Now this is the part where I tell you where we meet to do this crazy, Holy, church thing: Sunday mornings, 11:11 AM at 873 Broadway (bet 18-19th St)…When you get to the front door there will be a sign telling you to buzz #0020 – and when you get to the 4th floor you’ll see more signs pointing you to Room 408. Hope to see you sometime!
