Hmm…does it look like church?

Of course not, because churches are not buildings…but this building in particular does not look like a place where a church would meet. When you get to the front door (873 Broadway, next to Duane Reade) you will see a sign for the church prompting you to buzz-in by pressing # “0020″ Then you’ll take the elevator to the 4th floor and see more signs telling you to make 2 right turns… to room 408. All this might seem very un-churchlike…and yet here we are.
If you’re planning to drive, keep in mind that the FDR is closed, and so is 6th Avenue for the 5 Boro Bike Tour, (click for the map) and the upper level of the Queensboro Bridge. There are also a couple of cross-streets that will be closed north of Union Square (18th going East, and 21st for crane operation). So leave an extra 10 minutes early if you’re planning to drive.
Subways should be alright this week getting you to Union Square and back. You can always check here for service advisories. Look forward to seeing you!
