Union Square…here we come!

Yes, we’re moving! Here’s why…
We started off CityFellowship with two values: One, we wanted a church we could bring our non-Christian friends to. A church that could speak intelligently and relevantly about faith…to our non-Christian peers, neighbors and friends. Two, we also wanted a local church where neighborhood people could walk to. We are holding onto value #1, we need churches we can bring our non-Christian friends to, and we actually recommend that this ought to be a value for people looking for home churches: don’t just find a church where you can feel comfortable and grow, but one to which you could invite your friends and co-workers, where they could be comfortable and grow with you! It’s more fun that way. So we’re sticking with Value #1, but we have decided to give up on #2 (for the time being).
Although we still believe in the value of a really “local” church we want to make sure that everyone who wants to can get to us without too much trouble… There are many barriers people face in finding God, but the 7-train should not be one of them. So beginning April 27th, we will be meeting in a loft space near Union Square, 873 Broadway (bet. 18 and 19th St).
Want to help us move?
It actually doesn’t require any heavy lifting – since we’re not physically moving anything other than our meetings place… But you can still help us make the transition by passing on the news! Or even better, come by and bring a friend!

wow! that’s big news – congratulations! We will definitely help spread the word- first with our brother Mike.
If only we were still in NYC….11:11am is our ideal church time. It’s usually the exact time we make it to our 11am service.
